As a part of the project we also provide specialised training for representatives of offices, institutions and entities who work with the citizens of third countries and for employees of educational institutions who work with foreign children.
Training for teachers, educators and school caretakers
During the project we will hold 4 two-day long off-site training sessions in the form of lectures and practical classes. Each group will consist of about 25 people.
The training is aimed at the development of inter-cultural competences of the teaching staff, the improvement of relations among foreign children, teachers, parents and Polish children as well as the improvement of the well-being and school safety of children from third countries.
Agenda of the training:
- Psychological and social situation of children who experienced migration.
- Working with a multicultural group.
- Support for a foreign child – methods and examples of good practices.
- Co-operation with parents.
- Elements of methodology of teaching the Polish language to foreign children.
The participants of the training will be provided with:

training materials (folders, notepads, pens, ID badges) and a script with the necessary information which is useful in everyday work with a foreign child,
-
reimbursement of the costs of travel to the place of the training,
-
accommodation,
-
catering.
Training for the employees of offices and institutions working with foreign clients
As a part of the project we also provide specialised training for employees of institutions and organisations who work with foreigners and are in everyday contact with the citizens of third countries. The training will contribute to a more professional level of service to foreigners in the offices, more efficient use of the official structures and more effective and economical work aimed at the integration of foreigners. Four two-day long off-site training sessions (13 teaching hours per group) will take place. Each group will consist of about 25 participants.
Agenda of the training:
- Legal regulations of the foreigners’ stay in Poland.
- The scope of help.
- Changes in provisions of law, interpretation of the amendment to the act on promotion of employment and institutions of the job market with regard to the employment of foreigners.
- Competences of the institutions serving the foreigners.
- Forms of help provided to foreigners at the lowest governmental level (commune level).
- Documents the foreigners should use in Poland in order to apply for social and health benefits and the possibilities of providing the foreigners with support in the Social Welfare Centres and District Family Support Centres.
The participants of the training will be provided with:

In order to provide the officials with further support in the scope of practical interpretation of law concerning foreigners, they will be able to use an on-line support line for employees and officials.
Officials who work with foreigners and employers who hire citizens of third countries will be able to obtain on-line support from a lawyer. The scope of counselling shall cover the information about the legalisation of the stay and the job market as well as the rights and duties of the migrants.
