15.06.2020 – Invitation to listen to a radio broadcast (No. 7) – interview with Cheslav Singh – Canadian musician of Polish-Indian descent
We invite everyone to listen to the radio program, which was aired on Radio Emaus on 3 June 2020. The broadcast was carried out under the motto “I was a stranger and you invited me in”.
The programme featured a Canadian musician whose family roots are found in Poland and in the distant Punjab, India. Our guest introduced the listeners to his world of musical exploration and presented the unique traits of Sikhism followers, who can be found on all continents today. Various groups of migrants can identify with the fate of Sikhs – they do not feel at home anywhere.
The recording provides an opportunity to find out what Poland looks like through the eyes of visitors from other countries, what is the contribution of migrants to the cultural life and the perception of the world, as well as to learn about the attitudes in the Sikh religion.
