10.09.2020 – Report from the meeting with employers held on 04/09/2020

On 04/09/2020, a free information meeting was held in Kalisz for employers employing and interested in employing foreigners and for migrants already working in Poland.

During the meeting, the representatives of the Border Guard explained the topics of controlling the legality of employment and the rules of entry and stay of foreigners in the territory of Poland under the visa-free regime and visas, as well as entry under the transit regime.

The participants could also get acquainted with the rules of issuing permits for seasonal work and work on the basis of declarations of entrusting work to a foreigner. Those topics were presented by a representative of the District Labour Office in Kalisz.

The representative of the Wielkopolska Voivodship Office Local Office in Kalisz, in turn, explained the procedures for legalising the stay of foreigners and work in the Republic of Poland during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Participants also had time to exchange experiences and discuss.
